Reduce pimples with Coconut water and Turmeric

Acne or pimples develops when the hair follicles on the face, chest or back are clogged with oil and dead skin. Each pore is connected to a sebaceous gland, which produces an oily substance called sebum. Extra sebum can plug up pores, causing the growth of a bacteria.

Makeup is a temporary solution as it can only camouflage, not cure your skin problems. Using cheap or bad quality cosmetic products can make your skin greasy and further aggravate the problem. One of the easiest ways to get rid of pimples is to stick to natural home remedies as they are safe and reliable and don’t burn a hole in your pocket.

Coconut water and turmeric face mask your skin get rid of the daily build-up of toxins underneath your skin and at the same time get rid of bacteria, germs and dirt embedded in your skin to give it a natural glow.

Things Required:

  • Coconut water
  • Turmeric powder

How To:

  • Take coconut water and add it to the turmeric powder gradually until it forms a paste-like consistency, then transfer this mixture to a bowl.
  • Apply the mixture on the affected area and leave it in for a good 15 minutes then rinse with clean cold water.

For better results, follow this method twice a week.

Why it Works:

Coconut water has antibacterial properties because of its lauric acid content. It’s also why coconut oil is revered for its acne-reducing abilities.

According to studies, lauric acid can exert the strongest bactericidal activity against P. acnes, which causes inflammatory acne like whiteheads and cysts.

Turmeric’s active ingredient, curcumin, can suppress specific stimuli in the immune system, making it a powerful salve for skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.

It also helps picked zits to heal faster by decreasing oxidation and lowering the stress response. If your face is currently breaking out, this mask will help to soothe it almost immediately.
