Rosewater for all the Eye problems

Rosewater considers as one of the ingredients used in Ayurvedic medicine, and also it solves many eye problems which are going to see about in this article. These are home remedies practised from old age and very useful for the relaxation of eyes. 

Things Required:

  • Rosewater

How To:

  • Mildly soak cotton swabs in rosewater and place it over your eyes for a soothing, cooling and relaxing effect. 
  • Get instant relief from burning, red or inflammatory eyes by pouring two to three drops of rose water in each eye and closing it for a few minutes. You can also cleanse your eyes every night to wade off any eye infection.
  • To treat those tired and droopy eyes, mix sandalwood with rosewater, apply on the eyelids and wash off your face with lukewarm water after 15 minutes. 
  • Banish those dark circles by smearing rosewater under the eyes. Using this remedy regularly will also remove dark circles and make your skin lighten, which will add a bit more confidence in your beautiful face.

Why it Works:

Rosewater can help deter dry eyes and cleanse the eyes of dust, reducing the likelihood of developing these conditions. Rosewater can use as an organic cleanser and astringent as well.

Apart from this, its anti-septic and anti-bacterial properties may reduce the discomfort caused by pollution and dust. It considers as an excellent remedy for lightening stubborn dark circles.

It also eases irritated skin and depression. Rosewater also has anti-inflammatory properties which help to relieve symptoms of inflammatory eye disorders.

It also has anti-infective properties, making it an effective remedy for acute dacryocystitis which is an infection caused in the tear sacs, which leads to inflammation, redness, and swelling.

Tea bags for the Eye care

Due to stress, the skin under the eyes becomes thin, and the blood vessels underneath it become visible as dark circles. We cannot remove these stressors from our lives altogether. However, they are natural ways to prevent dark circles and get rid of them naturally.

Things Required:

  • Tea bags

How To:

  • Sheer two bags of tea as you would naturally if you were going to make the tea. 
  • Then clutch out the excess liquid from the bags. 
  • Allow them to cool down, so they’re mild, or chill them in the fridge for 10 minutes. 
  • Cover your eyes with the tea bags for 15 to 30 minutes.

You may use your fingertips to apply tender pressure to your eyes or lightly massage the area around your eyes. Get rid of eye redness and strain using Sesame oil

Sandalwood, popularly known as Chandan in India, has also often been mentioned in the Ayurveda as a natural healer.

Regular use of the antibacterial Sandalwood powder helps in fighting acne-causing bacteria, exfoliates the skin, soothes sunburn, removes suntan, and reduces signs of aging such as dry skin wrinkles.

Nutmeg has anti-inflammatory properties that help diminish pigmentation and redness. Nutmeg works well for both oily and dry skin.
