How To Get Stronger Nails with Olive Oil

August 1, 2021 by sharvayonibeauty Leave a Comment

Do your nails keep breaking? Most of us can agree that all of us have a nail-length goal, but sadly nails break before reaching it. There are several reasons for the nails to break like taking shower for too long, harshly handling things, accidentally cutting your nails in the kitchen, and so on. The main reason behind brittle nails is dry and unhealthy cuticles and the nail bed. So proper moisturizing and good care can make your nails healthier and stronger.

Although many products like cuticle oils are available in the market, not all can be trusted to do the job, and also they are cost-effective. You can always opt for a natural and reliable option that will not burn your pocket.

Things Required:

  • Olive Oil – Two Tablespoons

How To:

  • Take two tablespoons of olive oil in a bowl.
  • Heat it to a luke warm temperature.
  • Apply this warm oil on your cuticles and nail bed every night before bed.

For better results, follow this method every day. Using this method regularly would make your nails stronger and healthier.

Why it Works:

Heated olive oil is a great oxidizing agent that helps to moisturize the cuticles around your nails thus stimulating moisturization and also stimulating the growth of your nails. Because of the rich vitamin E olive oil contains, it is extremely moisturizing and easily absorbed, which makes it great for nail growth.

Olive oil helps in the absorption of calcium and also improves bone mineralisation and the process of calcification.

All though many moisturizing products are available in the market, not all can be safe and trusted.

Using cheap or bad-quality products can make your skin greasy and further aggravate the problem. One of the easiest ways to get rid of dry skin is to stick to natural home remedies as they are safe and reliable and don’t burn a hole in your pocket.

Things Required:

  • Olive oil – One Tablespoon

How To:

  • Take a tablespoon of olive oil in your palms.
  • Gently massage your face in a circural motion.

Why it Works:

Olive oil is loaded with nutrients and is a natural humectant that attracts moisture to dry skin. Many people love to use olive oil for dry skin because it contains vitamin E, vitamin K and other wonderful ingredients that also offer anti-aging benefits.

Olive oil is also an antioxidant, so it might help prevent or reverse damage from cancer-causing ultraviolet radiation. Natural remedy for ringworm

November 16, 2020 by Bhuvanesh Leave a Comment

Ringworm is a very common fungal infection that is not, despite its name, caused by a worm. It is caused by the fungus Tinea, which is highly contagious. Anyone can get ringworm, although some people are more susceptible than others, such as those with compromised immunity and young children.

Symptoms of ringworm include a red, scaly, circular patch on the skin or nails. It usually affects the scalp and arms, but it can appear on any part of the body. Jock itch and athlete’s foot are common forms of ringworm. One of the easiest ways to cure ringworm is to stick to natural home remedies as they are safe and reliable and don’t burn a hole in your pocket.

Things Required:

  • Garlic – four cloves
  • Olive oil – was required

How To:

  • Take four cloves of garlic and crush them with mortar and pestle.
  • Gradually add olive oil to this until it forms a paste-like consistently.
  • Apply the mixture on the affected area and leave it in for 2 hours then rinse with clean cold water.

For better results, follow this method twice daily

Why it Works:

Garlic contains diallyl disulfide, an anti-inflammatory compound that limits the effects of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Garlic is one of the most potent antifungal and antimicrobial herbs.

Therefore, garlic can help fight ringworm and may even help prevent cartilage damage from arthritis.

Olive oil has antibacterial properties, a compound in olive oil, oleuropein, has been found to have potent antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral effects, which helps in curing ringworm.

Scalp massages are a slow process to promote hair growth, but extremely useful. We recommend switching to traditional scalp massages and supporting natural ingredients to acquire the maximum gains.
