Natural Moisturiser for Dry Hands

August 1, 2021 by sharvayonibeauty Leave a Comment

Studies say that hands get wrinkles faster than the face. Since the skin is very thin at the back of our hands and because we use them constantly, the skin loses its elasticity and forms lines and wrinkles easily. Although there are several reasons for this like aging and excessive washing, there is another reason which is not properly moisturizing. Moisturizing leaves the skin soft, supple, and wrinkle-free.

Since hand creams have been a trend in recent years, there are hundreds, if not thousands of products available in the market today. Although many products are available in the market, not all can be trusted to do the job, and also they are cost-effective. You can always opt for the natural and reliable option which will not burn your pocket.

Things Required:

  • Castor oil – Two Tablespoons

How To:

  • Take two tablespoons of castor oil and apply it on your hands.
  • Once your hands are fully covered with oil, massage your hands gently.
  • Leave the oil on the skin for about 10 minutes. Rinse out with clean water and gentle soap.

For better results, follow this method every day. Using this method regularly would make your hands softer and wrinkle-free.

Why it Works:

Castor oil penetrates the skin and helps to stimulate the body’s own production of collagen and elastin, which can soften and hydrate the skin. Castor oil contains vitamin E, which is known to help promote smooth, conditioned skin. Applying it to dry hands will soothe tight, scaly skin.

The fatty acids in castor oil, specifically undecylenic acid, in castor oil are also known for their antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral benefits that will prevent fungal infections like ringworm.
