Chapped or cracked lips is not only unpleasant to look but also painfully at times. Chapped can be a problem at any time of the year whether cold winter or hot summer. It is not only caused due to harsh weather but also the environmental factors such as pollution, uv rays or cosmetic products. If you’ve always wondered why this happens, here’s your answer the skin of the lips is the thinnest and the most sensitive. Yes, you read it right. That part of your face that we forget about, requires attention and care. You have to make taking care of your lips a part of your daily skincare regimen.

While lip balms can certainly be a relief there are other natural home remedies for this problem. One of the easiest ways to get rid of chapped lips is to stick to natural home remedies as they are safe and reliable.

Things Required:

  • Malai(clotted cream) – two tablespoons

How To:

  • Apply malai on your lips and leave it for about 10 minutes.
  • Take a clean cotton pad soaked in lukewarm water and wipe it off.

For better results, follow this method once every day. Using this method regularly would result in a moisturized and plump looking lips.

Why it Works:

Because of its high fat content, clotted cream or malai moisturises your lips well and reduces cracks in your lips leaving them soft, supple and moisturized.
