Body odour can be embarrassing and make you lose your confidence. Body odour can not only be unpleasant to people around but also for the person experiencing it. The body releases sweat when it needs to cool down the body temperature. Body odour can be a problem at any time of the year, either burning hot summer or cold winters, not just the climate, the body also produces sweat under stress.

The unpleasant smell doesn’t come from the sweat itself but the bacteria that down the sweat. Even though there are millions of products for body odour available in the market, not all can be trusted to do the job or be safe without harmful chemicals. Here is a natural remedy for reducing body odour that is reliable and cost-effective.

Things Required:

  • Half a lemon

How To:

  • Take half a lemon and apply in on the problem area before bath.
  • Leave for 10 minutes . If you have sensitive skin, dilute it in water beforehand.
  • Rinse out with cold water and continue with your shower routine.

For better results, follow this method every day. Using this method regularly would reduce body odour.

Why it Works:

Lemon juice is another highly acidic ingredient that doubles as a home remedy for body odour. The natural disinfectant and antibacterial abilities of lemons also help eliminate body odour.

It reduces the pH of your skin and makes it uninhabitable for bacteria. Applying lemon to armpits also reduces the pigmentation in that area.
