How To Use Malai for Dry Skin

December 19, 2020 by sharvayonibeauty Leave a Comment

Dry skin, also called xerosis, is skin that lacks moisture in its outer layer. There are many reasons for dry skin like climate, underlying health condition or genetics. Having dry skin can cause itchy skin, white patches, etc in severe conditions dry skin can even cause eczema and psoriasis. Keeping the skin moisturized is the key solution for dry skin. All though many moisturising products are available in the market, not all can be safe and trusted.

Using cheap or bad-quality products can make your skin greasy and further aggravate the problem. One of the easiest ways to get rid of dry skin is to stick to natural home remedies as they are safe and reliable and don’t burn a hole in your pocket.

Things Required:

  • Malai(milk cream) – One Tablespoon
  • Lemon Juice – One Tablespoon

How To:

  • Take malai in a bowl.
  • Add lemon juice in a bowl.
  • Mix it well.
  • Dip a clean cotton pad in the mixture.
  • Apply this mixture on your face in a circular motion and leave it in for about 15 minutes. Rinse out with lukewarm water.

For better results follow this method thrice a week.

Why it Works:

Malai works as a natural exfoliator and helps in eliminating the dead skin cells. For nourished and vitalized skin, you can also mix milk cream with oatmeal or breadcrumbs and rub it on your skin.

Malai not only cleanses the skin but can also tighten large open pores. Lemon juice naturally contains vitamin C, an antioxidant that may help reduce skin damage and premature aging. Due to its high pH levels, lemon can decrease oil on the skin and reduce inflammation.
