Almond and Milk to lighten the dark circles

Dark circles are quite becoming common and even though not imply a serious health matter. However, the appearance still induces a lot of stress amongst people. Even when you take great care of your skin and have a healthy complexion, the presence of those dark areas under the eyes will make you look old, tired, and dull. 

If you are having this problem, then not need to worry anymore. Like all skin problems, nature provides us with remedies to get rid of dark circles. Ayurveda recognizes stress as the biggest enemy for the skin. Due to stress, the skin under the eyes becomes thin, and the blood vessels underneath it become visible as dark circles. However, they are natural ways to prevent dark circles and get rid of them naturally.

Things Required:

  • Almonds
  • Milk

How To:

  • Crush the almonds into a powdered form.
  • Add one tablespoon of the almonds mash to 2 tablespoons of milk.
  • Mix the two constituents well until they form a paste of smooth consistency.
  • Apply the mixture around your eyes and wash off with cold water after drying.

Using this remedy regularly will remove dark circles, which will add a bit more confidence in your beautiful face.

Why it Works:

Almond acts as a hydrator for the skin. It helps to fade away dark circles and minimize the appearance of crow-feet wrinkles. Almonds contain vitamin E.

This vitamin guard against unstable molecules that target healthy tissue. Almond also contains retinol, and vitamin K, which can keep the delicate skin under your eyes smooth without irritating it.

These naturally occurring ingredients may also help contract the dilated blood vessels that are causing the discolouration. Milk contains vitamin A and vitamin B6 that help to build new skin cells.

In milk, there is a presence of vitamin B12 which naturally lightens dark skin. It also has selenium protects the skin from harmful free radicals and sun damage.

Wonders of Neem water

Things Required:

  • Twigs of Neem leaves

How To:

  • Put the two twigs of neem leaves in the bucket or tub.
  • Use hot water from a heater or boil some water and pour it in the tub or bucket.
  • Let the leaves settle for a few minutes. 

After the water cools down, remove the leaves, and your neem water is ready. During winters, many people complain of developing flaky hair due to constant use of woolen caps, scarfs, etc. Washing your hair with neem water can cure dandruff issues, acne, scars, and blackheads.

  • Henna leaves
  • Neem leaves

  • Coconut Oil
  • White cloth

How To:

  • Keep the three leaves in the sun for some time and powder them.
  • Place the powder in the white cloth and tie it.
  • Immerse the fabric in the coconut oil for a few hours.
  • Let the nutrients absorbed in the oil and remove the white cloth.

  • Betel leaves
  • Curry leaves
  • Pepper
  • Camphor
  • Cumin
  • Poppy seeds
  • Coconut oil

How To:

  • Add the above ingredients in the coconut oil.
  • Heat the oil in the simmer for a few minutes.
  • Strain the liquid and apply the oil all over the hair.

Get rid of Dandruff using Neem and Jaggery

Things Required:

  • Neem flowers
  • Jaggery
  • Sesame Oil

How To:

  • Mix Neem flowers and Jaggery in the Sesame oil
  • Heat the oil in a simmer and strain the liquid.
  • Apply the oil on dandruff areas of hair or itchy scalp
  • Massage your scalp with it and work it through your hair’s entire roots and tips for almost 10 to 15 minutes. 
  • Cover the hair with a shower cap and let the oil remain on the hair for about 15 minutes. 

Rinse it out of your hair with warm water. Shampoo the hair, until the oil leaves the hair greasy. Do it twice a week for dandruff free and moisturize hair.

The hair and scalp’s health is specially enhanced; the hair becomes black, long, and deep-rooted. Jaggery packs in loads of iron and vitamin C, which help cure weak and brittle hair.

It considers as a beautiful therapy for having long and lustrous hair.
