November 17, 2020 by sharvayonibeauty Leave a Comment

If you’re scrutinizing over your dull, dry winter skin and fine lines and wrinkles, you’re not alone. Beautiful, glowing skin starts with how we eat, but anti-ageing food can also help with more than that. When we pack our diet with vibrant foods loaded with antioxidants, healthy fats, water, and essential nutrients, our body will show its appreciation through its largest organ: our skin. After all, the skin is often the first part of our body to show internal trouble, and there’s only so much that lotions, creams, masks, and serums can do before we need to take a closer look at what’s fueling us.

Experts say it’s time to forget the expensive creams and procedures. The key to ageing gracefully is simple: Eat healthily.

Things Required:

  • Sprouts – 2 tablespoons

How To:

  • Take a hand full of whatever pulses or beans you need and soak them in a bowl of water overnight for 6 hours.
  • Drain the water from the seeds and always keep an eye on the moisture level in the bowl. Remember we want to the seeds to be moist to ensure that spray water as required.
  • Repeat this for up to 4 days and you can get your sprouts.

Eating sprouts every day has been proven to help reduce wrinkles and fine lines.

Why it Works:

It’s a well know fact that beans and pulses are the best natural source of protein. The cause of wrinkles is the weakening of collagen and elastin in the skin that happens as we age.

Amino acids found in protein sources can help rebuild and repair the damage. Vitamin, such as A, B, C and E, and essential fatty acid nutrients increase in sprouting and minerals bind to protein, making them more easily absorbed.

Natural remedy for ringworm

November 16, 2020 by sharvayonibeauty Leave a Comment

Ringworm is a very common fungal infection that is not, despite its name, caused by a worm. It is caused by the fungus Tinea, which is highly contagious. Anyone can get ringworm, although some people are more susceptible than others, such as those with compromised immunity and young children.

Symptoms of ringworm include a red, scaly, circular patch on the skin or nails. It usually affects the scalp and arms, but it can appear on any part of the body. Jock itch and athlete’s foot are common forms of ringworm. One of the easiest ways to cure ringworm is to stick to natural home remedies as they are safe and reliable and don’t burn a hole in your pocket.

Things Required:

  • Garlic – four cloves
  • Olive oil – was required

How To:

  • Take four cloves of garlic and crush them with mortar and pestle.
  • Gradually add olive oil to this until it forms a paste-like consistently.
  • Apply the mixture on the affected area and leave it in for 2 hours then rinse with clean cold water.

For better results, follow this method twice daily

Why it Works:

Garlic contains diallyl disulfide, an anti-inflammatory compound that limits the effects of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Garlic is one of the most potent antifungal and antimicrobial herbs.

Therefore, garlic can help fight ringworm and may even help prevent cartilage damage from arthritis.

Olive oil has antibacterial properties, a compound in olive oil, oleuropein, has been found to have potent antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral effects, which helps in curing ringworm.
