Seaweed Face Pack for Sensitive Skin

Do you have sensitive skin? And not all products work for you as they should? Here is a DIY face pack for sensitive skin which is 100% natural and highly reliable. Sensitive skin can be of any type from dry, combination, or oily skin. Dry skin, also called xerosis, is skin that lacks moisture in its outer layer. There are many reasons for dry skin like climate, underlying health conditions, or genetics. The same goes for oily and combination skin which may cause acne and pimples.

Using cheap or bad-quality products can make your skin greasy and further aggravate the problem. One of the easiest ways to stick to natural home remedies is as they are safe and reliable and don’t burn a hole in your pocket.

Things Required:

  • Spirulina(seaweed) powder – One tablespoon
  • Honey – One tablespoon

How To:

  • Take one tablespoon of seaweed powder in a bowl.
  • Add one tablespoon of honey and mix it well until it forms a paste-like consistency.
  • Apply this mixture on your face and leave this on for about 15 minutes. Rinse with clean cold water.

For better results follow this method twice a week.

Why it Works:

Spirulina facilitates faster cell turnover that helps skin heal faster. Rich in nutrients, vitamins, and both fatty and amino acids, Spirulina decreases inflammation, tones the skin and encourages cell turnover to promote a more youthful-looking complexion. It wards off free radicals and eliminates toxins from the skin to increase skin metabolism.

Honey is one of nature’s most revered skin remedies. Thanks to its antibacterial and antiseptic abilities, it may benefit oily and acne-prone skin. Honey is also a natural humectant, so it helps keep the skin moist but not oily.
