Get whiter teeth naturally

October 31, 2020 by sharvayonibeauty Leave a Comment

A smile is a wonderful thing, and one should certainly not feel conscious to smile and express their feelings. Teeth can look more yellow or darken especially as you age. As the outer enamel wears away, the yellowy dentin underneath becomes more visible. Dentin is the second layer of calcified tissue beneath the outside enamel layer. There are plenty of products to choose from when it comes to whitening your teeth. However, most whitening products use chemicals to bleach your teeth, which concerns many people.

If you want whiter teeth but also want to avoid the chemicals, there are plenty of natural remedies, which can be reliable, safe and most importantly cost-effective.

Things Required:

  • Mint leaves  – a handful

How To:

  • Take a handful of mint leaves and crush it with a mortar and pestle, grind it until it forms a paste-like consistency.
  • Rub this paste on your teeth for about 3 minutes.

For better results, follow this method once every day for two weeks. You will see whiter and brighter teeth.

Why it Works:

Mint leaves are well known to reduce bad breath and had been used all over the world. The vitamins and minerals in mint leaves work together to fortify enamel and ensure strengthening teeth and gums.

It acts as an alkaline food that contradicts the effects of the acidic environment that is responsible for gum diseases and tooth decay.

Even chewing on mint leaves can help keep your mouth moist and fresh. Mint has many nutritional benefits and also has properties which remove stains from teeth and freshen breath.
